This is based on my experience with M and the recent posts in the past month or two. Has something changed really recently? I am starting to see alot of more reliable reports of BBFS than before. I remember during the pre FOSTA / CV days, the chances of finding a BBFS girl was 40% or lower. I would have to cycle through alot of girls before I finally got it. Here is the story for you. I used to party hard back in 2004,2005 and 2006 with couple of single friends as we were all in our low 30 years old age. Well there is a drug that suppresses but does not eliminate the outbreak of HSV-2 (e. G. Makes less common).

I seriously doubt you contracted anything serious if you look at the stats on actual transmission and see how hard it can be to get something awful even with an infected partner. Something ore simple that an antibiotic may fix would be more a realty in my opinion. I'd say test and get your answers then relax. I have been where you are and all the self torture you're doing really wears on you. You begin to feel sick in certain ways and phantom pains and illness pops up. I can say that if I had to bet I am about 99.99% sure you are fine and I will be found to be correct. I hope all turns out well for you as I'm sure it will.

Tested non-reactive at the 7 week mark. Symptoms disappeared a few days afterward. My general physician couldn't find the causes of my symptoms either. The brain is truly odd.

There shouldn't be too much convo about this on this particular thread, there is another one called safe sex where this belongs. I don't have an opinion about the personal choices you make in this regard, but just some more data. HSV-2 is a viral disease just like HIV, and it is incurable once infected. Condoms are quite effective in reducing the HIV transmission rate, it seems like something similar should apply to HSV-2. Of course, the transmission mechanism and infected cells are different in each case. There is a way to be infected w / HSV-2 (usually called genital herpes) orally, and vice versa. If you get a STD panel, often HSV-1 is included. About 70% of the US population is seropositive for HSV-1. This is cold sores. Many people, including my best friend, are seropositive and have never even had a single cold sore. The infection rate for HSV-2 is in the 15-20% range. However, it varies by age and demographics. You can include that information in assessing your risk. I won't go into details, you can easily get the data from the CDC website (Centers for Disease Control).
