Yeah it's mostly keep things separate and also protect me from provider harassment. But yes if you have a provider that goes down to tracking IP addresses then yes only true way is a burner or VPN.

Thanks guys. I think I figured it out! I have been using the gmail app on my cell to send messages and images. Texts go through fine, but pics don't always work. Might be the recipients carrier. I just switched to the Google Voice app and it works fine! And I already got one asian girl tell me I'm cute, and another asian girl tell me "hell no!" Haha.

I'll look into insta and Twitter. I've used kik and snap, but not all girls want to fk with that. They assume you're hiding something if you don't send pic through text.
