I just came back from Manhattan where the cost of living is also high. Let me tell you, the providers here are actually paid very well. In NYC, the mamas are very strict due to the competition. All the top places charge an all inclusive 280. Now you're probably thinking, but Honolulu is only 150 plus 50 house fee". Here is where it's more money for providers here actually. In NYC, the providers cannot rush you, they have to give you a full hour, in Honolulu, it's more like 30 minutes. So actually NYC providers are getting paid 100 a half hour compared to 150 here in Honolulu. The providers have to work harder and give standard services that are usually extra upsells here in Honolulu. That's why I always cringe when I see mongers in Honolulu posting reviews that they were rushed by providers working here that are from out of state. These providers come here for these reasons, because Honolulu mongers are the most nicest and generous in the nation. Keep safe fellow mongers and stop getting ripped off.

I'm tired when providers say "you too big" and also shorten you especially in Sanyo there was a girl named Asia who service you for only 15 minutes and said " cum for me baby". These girls need to understand we work for our money and they shouldn't rip us off.

Tokyo area is much more difficult if you are not a nihonjin. The options for a foreigner there are mostly Chinese that speak and act Japanese. But in Osaka at Tobita Shinchi, you can have easy access and your pick of native Japanese spinners. There were over 100 up and down the 3 block area. You pay for time so I went with the QV every day. I was exhausted by the end of my trip. But I banged so many college cuties, I felt like I was the star college quarterback. Haha.

This is what happens when you live in a small isolated market with a limited customer base, frozen wages (they've been set at 200 for as long as I can remember), and an expensive place to live and do business out of. The advantages that we had in attracting Asian workers were our Asian influenced culture, nicer customers (from what I have been told), and a lax police force who looked the other way (for the most part) as long as this industry stayed out of sight. As this is no longer the case, options will continue to diminish.

Eventually choices will increase, but it will probably come from more expensive options (like escorts) and not at AMPs (like it is in most places). AMPs are easy targets for extortionists, thieves, and LE. Plus valuable Honolulu real estate is being converted into other uses at a very high rate. Remember where Ichiban used to be? It's a construction site (soon to be a luxury condo).

It's the new normal. Time to adjust to it because we hobbyists literally cannot stop it.

Remember that not every country is like the US. Whether legal or not, many Japanese places have "Japanese Only" policies including some bars and restaurants.

Japan and south korea is not that kind to foreign mongers IF you are looking for native japanese pro there.

Demand drives supply, and demand hasn't deminished on this Island. I've only been mongering for about 8 years on this Island, but in that time, when one place goes away, another pops up to take its place. I remember when CC just had Mayflower, and it was rocking. Then Sunflower opened up. Of course there was that one on the bottom floor too, but now, I've no idea how many are in there, lots of indies. I think chichi's is attempting to alter the usual 200 cost with their selection, they're still in business providing different options, so, whatever. I'm all about competition! However, I still have plenty of options elsewhere. I don't see much of a change in selection. But I usually stick with one or 2 available that rock my boat and ignore the rest.
