About your facts. Pretty sure NC was frying people at s pretty good rate until the AMA contested the constitutionality if Physicuans being present during the lights dimming to kill the bastards. State law says a PhD Doc has to be present. Now none will risk being in there so it's all on hold til further notice. The best line is "only LE opinion is published" no word from the ones being accused. Interesting article indeed coming from a female. The obvious question guys are asking from coast to cost is. Will the place I go to have cameras? Anything's possible but my hunch is here we have a extremely high profile customer that I think someone in the area recognized coming and going in this place and possibly other places and they notified LE hey want to catch a big fish, watch this guy and this place. Or there was someone within his circle that ratted him out. Why put cameras in one particular store in Jupiter why not Orlando or LA or NY. There's a lot of shouting about trafficking but the real story is a Gotcha Mr. High profile person. If one of our basketball coaches was spotted coming and going from one of the AMPs around here the cops would find somehow to get cameras in the place this would be a big time bust. It takes time and money to run these types of stings and popping the small fish like us only hits a bump in the road. It's possible the land lord could let LE in at night to rig up cameras or call in a bomb scare to empty the store Good Grief. But they will have a VERY difficult time getting the owners cooperation that owner would've packed and gone. I think Mr Billionaire either drew too much attention to himself or someone got some payback.

Nope, he just walked into it. He actually went back the next day after he got the benefit of being warned to stay away the day before. All that being said it's just a strange situation, my guess is there are going to plenty of lawsuits and who knows? This guy might foot the bill for everyone who wants to go after LE and the county.

Many AMPs, at a minimum, have a regular security camera system recording their lobby. Any raid on the business is going to seize whatever recordings are present. And with hard drives storing weeks, if not months, of footage, that gives lots of faces to match up with times and credit cards.

The tip of the iceberg comment in the news articles allude to what a large operation it is in general, but are there more shoes left to drop in a multi-state operation?

It's going to depend on the temperment of the individual LE agencies. You are more likely to see a sheriff's office in NC undertake investigations like this. If you're in a jurisdiction where the sheriff is actively promoting and "anti-trafficking" agenda or has established a human trafficking unit, I'd say chances are pretty good an operation is already underway.

Human trafficking is the hot topic of the day and federal agencies and non-profit organizations are providing training, personnel and equipment that is backed by grant funding. The training being provided LE administrators, investigators and prosecutors walks then through how to build their cases in a similar manner to what is unfolding in Florida.

I read the investigator's report outlining the Florida operation. They began with external surveillance, then conducted traffic stops on patrons which resulted in confessions, and then they obtained physical evidence from the trash that came out of the business. That gave them enough probable cause to obtain a warrant for internal surveillance with the cameras. Most likely scenario. They worked in cooperation with the property management company to gain access to place the cameras. LE will not recreate the wheel when it comes to conducting these investigations. They will do exactly what has worked in the past.

And. Yes. Expect more shoes to drop. They are working to tie these cases back to Flushing, NY. Which is the reason you will see that all of these investigations are aided by Homeland Security. They are building a Federal case. The connections to multiple states are necessary to show that there is interstate commerce occurring. When Federal charges drop, it will be a case about organized crime, money laundering, and tax evasion with millions and millions of dollars in bank accounts and property targeted for seizure and forfeiture.
