Wondering if anyone has seen this girl and it was legit? Looks like her ad is gone but I have been texting her and she is still willing to meet. Tried looking up her number and couldn't find anything on her.

I actually prefer those, but I'm picky about first visits. Some things that have helped me:

- Google Street View is your friend (for any first visit, regardless of location). Also, Google the address for police activity.

- Only providers with either reviews, references, or a posting history, no fake or stolen pictures without other references. Google and Google image search are again your friend.

- Have a plausible story ready on why you might be in the neighborhood.

- Be picky. If it seems sketchy, move on sooner rather than later.

- Never sit in a parked car anywhere but a crowded retail or fast food lot. Sitting there texting, driving slowly, multiple passes, no good. This means exponentially more in a residential neighborhood.

My worst experiences have been Notels. Once, as I left a Notel, I walked through the background of a LIVE TV NEWS REPORT covering a murder at the location several days before! That could have been uncomfortable.

I won't do streetwalkers at all. I've known several active and retired LE, and they'll tell you the same thing. They usually know all the SW'ers in an area, and most work in areas with plenty of other things to keep LE in the area. They don't need to set up elaborate operations, one of them only needs to see you pick up one of the known ladies to stop you. Even pulling over to talk to one of them can get your plate run and added to a database, and stopped on your next pass through. And now, we have to consider plate scanners attached to MDT's.

And guys. No vanity license plates for hobbyists. =80.

This is some solid advice. When possible I do a dry run by the location, especially if it's a private residence, prior to scheduled appointment. That's not always doable, especially if you can't get a general location out of the provider in advance. I don't ask for the exact address up front, but when they balk at giving a district or cross street, I tend to get concerned. While in some cases this is on account of the provider's safety, I often find that it's generally just a pretense for "don't come see my sh! T hole neighborhood and bail". In the case I mentioned in the OP, I scoped the place out ahead of time but didn't know the unit number. What was probably a miscommunication on my part with the provider may have very well ended badly for me because of what was happening elsewhere in her condo.

Fellow mongers I did something I said I was not going to do again but did it anyway and I am not proud. I am a bbjcim kinda guy and the FH Koop has been quiet lately.
