70/ hr is right. Not sure why you struck out. Maybe you had dud provider on a bad day. On damage I will tell you cash goes a long way. If you're looking for the usual fare the rates are typical and not overpriced like some other places. I like both places because its easy to build rapport and customize your experience. They really try hard to make you want to come back. Your 40 DIY is unusual, never experienced that.
