And amazing timing. I spent yesterday doing more research than ever before. Was kind of on a mission. Really bored of the subpar options in the valley and haven't been really impressed by any shop in over a year. On that note, I drove up to Northridge yesterday and was hoping to find something new. Was very much planning to spend some time exploring. Told myself I wouldn't stay anywhere unless I was impressed with the provider. Here was my journey.

Went to General. Was told the lady mentioned here is no longer there, so I moved on. Didn't like the options I was seeing. No thanks. Headed down to KY. Saw another option on Reseda on the way so thought I'd pop in. Extremely average and overweight provider. Also a freaky looking giant goldfish in the tank. No thanks. Went to KY. Was closed for some reason. Headed east on Saticoy. Ducked into a Thai shop on the corner of White Oak. Provider was literally bigger than me. I'm 6 feet tall and almost 200 pounds. No thanks. Was getting a little annoyed and tired of this mission by then. Went to Satori. 2 ladies that couldn't have been more physically average. At least late 40's. No thanks. Forget it. Went to Encino spa down the road for a sure thing HJ. Provider was skinny and youngish but a 5.5 at best. Another frustrating valley experience. No wonder I slowed down so much last year. The thrill is gone (for me at least).

I feel your pain. The valley was wonderful place 10 years ago. The thing that sucks is most of us go to these places for variety and spice. The same token massage, no foreplay, a flip and a tug doesn't get it up the same way anymore and I don't think it's age. It's boredom.

Guys (and ladies, if you're out there) I know times are tough and you want every dollar to count, but FFS, you have to take a gamble now and then. Please stop with the requests for "sure thing" places.

Try this- you're driving around and you see a "massage" sign. It's in a strip mall. It's a small store front. There are drapes over the windows. Stop. Go in. Is there a window with an additional door to the back? Ask the pricing. Is the MMS older and sizing you up? Give it a shot.

See where I'm going here? You may get a HE, you may get a great legit massage, you may get a shit legit massage, but at least you'll have intel to share. Do that a few times and then come at me with requests.

Like many I have my fave spots, and I will share intel mostly thru DM's. I enjoy the "thrill of the hunt", and it both amazes and infuriates me when people here are too lazy to dig in and do 10 minutes worth of research to find the places mentioned here. You never know what or who you may find with a little elbow grease. Nothing is a guarantee, that's for sure.

I feel you. And then, when you do find that needle in the haystack, why would you share it so everyone on here can bombard the place and turn it into every other place? Those who take the time (like you did) to search out places, "risk" a legit massage, spend hard earned money in the process, reap the rewards.
