Assman45 is right.
My experience has been, negotiating on the first appointment is better on a weekday when they are not as busy. Get in with the short stay price, bring some really good chocolate and they might not mind turning it into a hhr visit without having to haggle much about the price. More than one way to negotiate. I never try negotiating on a Friday or Saturday.
