What are ya'll doing for a place to bang. Just motel rooms / AirBnb or are their other alternatives? I usually get a motel room which ends up being 50-70. Just tryna not spend too much on a room which I only end up using for 3-4 hrs.

I can only play during the day. I use Booking.com usually the night before, and am sure to book a spot with free cancellation up until 4:00 that day. I try to check in anywhere from 9- noon or 1:00, with a pre-arranged meeting time with a UTR around 10-11. Sometimes, they'll tell me they don't have rooms ready and checkin is like 3. If they hold to that, I cancel. But most of the time, they'll find a room for me. Extra bonus. If you you frequent 1 property often, they'll almost always accommodate you. And probably upgrade you. If you do have to cancel because they don't have a room, no problem with a regular. If it's a first timer, up to you whether you want to look extra hard for a last minute backup.

Dayuse.com has hotels up by the airport and a couple on the Northside ITP. Very reasonable rates for a day and better times if you can get away during the day.

When it's too short notice, it's hard for me to find a decent spot. But when I have time to plan it out, I used to get two days out of it. With my gold status at Marriott and Hilton, I can check in as early as 9:00 on day 1 and check out as late as 4:00 on day 2.
