I met a gorgeous 18 yo college Freshman off SA in October. Very pretty and a track athlete. She was new at the time and must be popular, as she has logged in frequently between October and now. At the M&G she was so scared she brought along a girlfriend, even though it was at a coffee shop. She asked what I could spend (my budget is 600 per mo for 3 visits plus ancillary costs like dinner and hotel) and she said "Wow, that's a lot for a platonic relationship. " The interview went fairly well but I figured it would not work out. I don't do platonic. Maybe when I'm 80. However, I always keep a positive attitude. The goals are to get laid and be safe. Being negative when things don't work out does not achieve the goal; you certainly won't get laid, and it might even provoke an unsafe reaction.

At the end of the M&G, to my surprise she asked for my phone number and an hour later she texted me, saying that she could see herself being intimate with me after she knew me better. Fair enough. I figured I'd take a gamble. Unfortunately, after 3 dates (dinner, shopping, a movie once) she still would not even kiss me! So I stopped contacting her. She continued to contact me, though, and I always answered. After a couple weeks of this, I finally invited her very politely to a hotel. She said she was not comfortable having sex, and I told her, again very politely, that we were not going to be compatible. Whew!

Then in early December, after chatting with another 18 yo for a few weeks on SA and leaving her my number, she texted me after a long delay. It turned out to be the first girl's girlfriend, the one who had come to the interview in October. I somehow had not recognized that from her profile pictures. She was a lot more businesslike, willing to skip the M&G since we had one, and she stated that she was ready to have sex, but for a high price, $400 ! She used escort terminology. As I demurred she asked what I could spend, I said 200. To my surprise, she agreed. I haven't hooked up with her yet. I would prefer someone more on the naive semi-innocent end of the spectrum than on the expensive escort end. I know that some will argue that it's all the same. We will have to see what happens. The SB sites are a good reminder of the adage "don't count your chickens before they are hatch. " Another possible lesson is that I cannot do much on my budget. C'est la vie.

There are a lot of discussions about the 18 yo girls on the SB threads. Some say to avoid them: too flakey and too expensive. Others, and I tend to agree with this, say "go young". At least they have a good reason to be single and if they are in college they have a modicum of intelligence (important if you plan to talk to them) and they need the support for a legitimate reason without being too desperate. If they actually like you, the expense might be controlled. However, if someone asks for 400, I think it's a bad sign. She is probably out of my league.

If you want to use seeking (arrangement) on your phone, go to safari and type in "www.seeking.com".

Its not as convenient as the app, but its the only alternative for now. Unless you want to switch to an android.

I don't disagree a bit about the "arrangements", but will ask that you leave these in a separate location. Every site I've seen referenced in the escorts section is free to access, while the ones referenced here are not. To me, that is the primary difference. Merging them will just shift the drama to variations of "what are the juicy tidbits in that link?

Apple is refusing the app and any like it.

FAQ section on seeking.com.

" Unfortunately, the Seeking app will no longer be available on the App Store. We spoke with Apple, and they informed us that dating sites where women are looking to meet rich, successful men are no longer supported. We clarified that we are more than just sugar dating but Apple made it clear that any site catering to the niche of rich / millionaire dating would not be allowed on the AppStore.
