I have been talking with her off and on for a few weeks. Wants $$ 5 for an evening. Seems kinda flaky. There one day and then conversation just drops right in the middle. LOL.

Would be interested if any one else has info.

I often thought she was interesting but for some reason hesitated contacting her. I'm curious if anyone ever met with her and what the results were? She doesn't seem to be too active on SA presently.

I figured I come the the source for all things SB / SA. Have you guys had any luck using Google Image Search to get info on pics from SA profiles? Seems as if they are changing the meta-data and none of the pictures are returning results when I input them into the Image Search.

I haven't done image searches but once I get a phone number, they do pop up on social media rather frequently which helps me get a feel for them overall. Once you get a true view of them and the image they put out, much easier to make an informed decision.

I run all numbers through the Mr Number app (I pay for the premium membership). Depending on how diligent I am being in my initial screening, I'd say it spits back a name 33-50% of the time. I can then run that through google to see if linked in results turn up and run through Facebook.

Yes. I use an iPhone. When I get a number, I assign it to a contact. I've had several of those contacts "pop up" in my FB list of people I may know. It sometimes takes a couple days of exchanging texts before it does tho.

Thanks for this! I can also attest that it works. Is there a way to use the same procedure, or a variation, to suss out the SB's email or contact info? I see that all my dirty laundry is on display, but not hers. If you could poke around a bit more and see what else you can find, I'm pretty sure we would elect you to the SD Clubhouse All-Time Hall of Fame!

This works good. But the SA IT team will fix this bug (it's very east to fix (two lines of code change) if they know that we know about it. So we need to use it only thru PMs not publicly.

Uh, there's a disconnect here. You say your SB is a 'civvy' - but then she says 'most guys' - so, obviously, she has a database big enough to use *most* - you've got what is defined here as an UTR.

I suppose you are right in that regard. From my limited 9 month life of sugaring in the Bowl, I've found what I would say are real civvies, UTRs and outright professionals. Of course, how one characterizes an SB is a constant debate here and we all have our own opinions. And because I'm a relative newbie, my opinion is moot as I have no idea what the Bowl was like last year, two or ten years ago. We each have our reasons for playing in the Bowl and sometimes I'm willing to nurture an actual SB while other times I just want to get my dick wet because I have the time and cash and my experience, for the most part, is that the SBs, even the UTRs, are better than the pros as they don't watch the clock, and provide an overall better experience.

There seems to be a perpetual moving target in terms of how to pay for monthly membership without giving up our personal identity. I have had a lot of luck over time with OneVanilla and VanillaGift prepaid debit cards, and there seems to be some posting in sugar threads that indicates these still work, but I am not 100% sure.

I want to inquire about the experience of others w / another scenario I can envision. I have an Android phone and have the seeking.com app on it. I am guessing from other's posts that I could pay for a month with Google Pay. I haven't ever used it, so does it work this way? I get myself a Google Pay prepaid card (which I am guessing I can do without giving up personal info) and add it to the Google Pay app on my sugar burner? Then I can pay my membership on the seeking.com app from Google Pay? If someone has experience doing this, or a correction of it, I'd be very grateful.

I only have a membership on seeking for a month at a time, perhaps less, it isn't necessary for me to have a full plate, and I get too obsessed w / finding new SBs. I have used the app to set up a new profile, with that you can get a week of full membership for <$30, that has worked for me at some time.

You can add a prepaid card to Google pay. I just did it a week ago. In my case, I used a Vanilla prepaid card available at most drug stores.

There have always been both types on the site. Maybe the share has increased. Most of the complaints I have heard is about them being scammers. That aside, the big interest for me is this ranting online: where are they doing it? If you can learn that, it would be BIG news and very useful!

I'm a programmer, and I spend a good portion of my time doing web development. I've noted that SA has been rewriting portions of their site from a traditional "click link, wait for server return the new page" style to a "single-page application" approach. Turns out that due to some rather silly programming choices on their part, it's actually possible to view the text content of messages even if you don't have premium time enabled.

It involves opening up your browser's "development tools" window so you can inspect the contents of the page and the data being requested, and should work in either Chrome or Firefox.

Log in to SA and go to your inbox. Right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Inspect Element". The browser's dev tools should either pop up as a separate window, or as part of the main window. Click on the "network" tab in the dev tools. Then, back in the SA inbox screen, click on a conversation.

If you go back to the "network" tab, you should see a list of all the data requests the SA page asked for from the server. One of them should look like "/ inbox? Page=1&limit=25". Click on that one. It'll show a bunch of technical details of some of the message headers.

Now, look for a tab called "Response". If you click on that, you should see a tree with sections like "status", "message", "conversation", and "metadata". Expand "conversation" "messages" "data". You should see some numbered entries, 0 and up. Those represent each of the messages in the conversation, from both of you. (Side note: the "metadata" object has a whole bunch of info that they know about your own account. Some of it is info you entered yourself, like profile info. There's also things like "payments_total", which appears to be how much you've actually ever paid SA, unread message count, whether you're in the EU, and even fields labeled "has_under_age_punishment" and "has_unacknowledged_punishment". Very interesting.)

Each message entry has a field called "body", which is the text that's shown in your inbox. If you've got premium active, it's the actual message text. If not, it's "Upgrade to read".

Here's where they did something silly. They send back the text that should be shown, but *they also send back the original text too*. So, even if the "body" field says "Upgrade to read", the "original_body" field shows the actual no-kidding message that was sent. You can inspect each of the messages that was received, and effectively read the conversation.

It's not a substitute for reading messages in the inbox as usual, but it might be helpful for anyone who gets a message when they don't have premium active and wants to peek at it without having to immediately shell out the cash to read it.

As a programmer, I can tell that there's actually a _ton_ of useful information being returned whenever you view a profile page or inbox page. It would be possible for someone to write a browser extension that either extracted some of that info from a page, or re-requested that data from the server, and did something useful with it (up to and including modifying an inbox to show all the messages without needing premium enabled). Sadly, I don't have time to work on anything like that myself. I've got a lot of other things on my plate.
