Proton is the way to go. Use Firefox. As someone mentioned already duckduckgo is another good one. Add a VPN as well. You and everyone else should stop using google (including their other services email, calendar, etc). They keep record of everything you search pretty much forever.

I've noticed that BL's website has been acting weird since the beginning of the Time of Darkness (I'm sure it's related somehow). Sometimes pics work, sometimes they don't.
