I've got a date and a name (she def said B-, but I thought I heard SW- from the dj; tallish blonde, late 20's / early 30's, B / Cs. Def not a name I've seen on this forum within the past year, upon searches). Seems like something of a nuisance has appeared (up top, not down low, so far, and not from FS). I'll let admin redact, accordingly, but I'd suggest PMing any responses, as I'm curious to know if this potentially unfortunate corcumstance has befallen anyone else, there.

I think he's trying to say he "caught" something a little more than expected from the dancer and is asking if anyone else has caught anything from one of the dancers there. And is searching for the dancers name that he doesn't really remember.

I'm there on occasion, does she work dayshift or night? A little more of a description might help narrow down who it may be. Height weight body type (thick, thin spinner etc etc). Thinking about a trip to the clubs up there tonight and might swing in there later if I do go up.

P.S. Collusive Oligopoly might also be called a cartel. Both are inherently unstable because one provider can undercut the price set by the other cartel members and reap lots of economic benefits.

SL: If your analysis is correct, you have the wrong conclusion-- send the pimp (or anyone who seeks to exploit the dancers or dictate prices) to Vegas, or better yet to Leavenworth or Siberia. Let the dancers have the freedom to be entrepreneurs and sell their services as they see fit and without coercion from pimps.

I should note that I've seen a number of clubs where the dancers (not pimps) pressure each other, especially newbies, to keep prices unrealistically high. There is a simple solution to price fixing-- take your money elsewhere, as to a different club.

I agree 100%. The high prices have nothing to do with pimps. It's all because of the stripper union, the girls pinky promise in the locker room not to even look at a dick for under X amount. I wish pimps had their hand in it more, then the girls would be on time and wouldn't spend half their shift in the locker room doing drugs and texting their loser BFs.

The opposing force to that is as Electroman says, Competition, because the collusion is limited to within the club confines, for a bunch of reasons. Price too high, go elsewhere. Simple. Too bad my econ prof never took us on a field trip to the SC's, would have been a great lesson.

+1 to Holden. I might have taken an economics class if the prof had more "hands on" learning experiences in a strip club.

Ever ask a girl there her price and she says '300', then you ask another and she says '300'? So on and so on. No negotiating down whatsoever. Why is that? Its because they aren't 'independent contractors' like the other girls. They are working for pimps and 'the price is the price'. Talk to a girl enough and she'll tell you all this. They can't negotiate since their 'co-workers' (the other girls the pimp runs) will tell him how many VIP's the other girl has done. So she needs to produce the right amount of money. That being said these girls don't like competition (girls offering it for half the price) so they'll intimidate and threaten them to no extent. Why there aren't too many 'new girls' who do extra's. Hoping the lack of curtains makes it harder for these pimped out girls to make money and forcing them to move to another location (like Vegas).
