The ego has quite simply been bred into them. In every single other venue, online or real life, attractive women are used to being able to get what they want from men. And unfortunately, most men are conditioned to give it to them. Or at least to believe they're going to have to work harder to get attention from the woman than the woman is in order to get attention from them.
