You are absolutely right! It is funny as hell and I can see it being the bones of a classic Seinfeld episode, unfortunately with me being George, getting wound up tighter and tighter and tighter! Just to make it funnier, it would also be a great place to throw in a "shrinkage" reference, since it was kind of cold out that night! Thing is, I didn't go into the "adventure" knowing this would happen, although I always half way expect it. I saw Destaniee Jones recently. What a cluster of a visit! We texted during the day trying to set up the dream and when I was ready to leave work and asked her where she would be she gave me an address in the NE between Huntsville and New Market. I punched "home" on my GPS and then drove like a bat out of hell! Oh, get this: as we were driving to the "nearby" location, she asked to stop at a convenience store to pick up some cigarettes. I said ok. As she was getting out, she batted her eyes and asked if I could give her $5. Fine. I did. She went in and came right back out. I thought, "Dang, that was fast!" But it wasn't. She came back out to ask for another dollar. She disappeared into the store this time for a good 7-8 minutes (I guess texting her girlfriend or something) and finally came back. I guess she didn't care that I was waiting on her.

I mentioned all of this to Wayward who, sadly, said that she is back into her old ways and getting worse. He filled in the gaps and made the events make sense to me. I suspect that the deal was that Destaniee would pay for the pills out of my donation and then, once she had the pills, had me drive her to the place she was going to use them (her "uncles".

Anyway, it was an experience. Luckily, even though I got home 2 hours later than expected, instead of questions, all the wife said was, "wow, you had an even longer day than you thought you would!" To which I agreed showing sincere frustration!

So, for those that knew and for those that suspected, looks like Destaniee, who could be awesome, is diving head-first into the abyss of drugs.

I fell out laughing reading this. I can see this being on an episode of Seinfeld or Frazier. LOL I know the moment wasn't funny and I'm not laughing at you. Just the situation. I avoided all the discussions about this one but now want to share my two encounters. Yes, two. The second time I didn't realize it was the same girl I had visited this summer until I noticed the same pattern of behavior. When I realized it the second time I just left. Hell some of these. And the best looking ones at times. You can probably walk in with half the price and leave it and they will take it. These ladies lives are in total dissaray.
