I always have that "walk of shame" feeling, too, because I have this feeling that somebody could tell by looking. But then my brain takes over and says, "They're not interested in you unless you look like you don't belong. " If you act like you know where you're going (it always helps if the girl tells you where the elevator is), you're unlikely to be asked anything. I never have been.
