I ask to use the bathroom. The bathroom door is resting at a slant in the door frame. It has been busted off its hinges. I'm sure there was an interesting story behind that. Anyhow, I come out and we start to head toward the stairs to go up to her room. We walk by what I think is the living room with a curtain partially covering the doorway. There were two guys in there. They seemed to be high on something.
I was getting pretty uncomfortable with the situation at that point, so I told her I was going to leave. She runs in front of me and stands in front of the door, and says I can't leave without giving her the donation. I'm not going to try to get past her with three guys in there, so I suggest we get a room. She agrees, and has a roommate hand her a duffel bag, so she can take a shower in the room. I'm guessing they had no hot water in the house (but the toilet did flush). I'm wondering what wonderful hygiene was awaiting me.
