I haven't been here in months but my god this thread is so fucking lame now! I remember the good old days battling pussys like Chris5, Ambrose, Spermburper, Smoke and all the the other frauds. Those were good times! LOL.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, legalized sex work is the one thing that the left and right both agree on; they're both against it. While the Trump Administration's passing and enacting FOSTA / SESTA put a huge dent in online advertising, remember who was one of the first to go after Backpage: Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, who is as liberal as you can get, strong-armed the major credit card companies into refusing to accept charges from BP.
The issue is neither uniquely right nor left. While Conservatives come at it from a moral perspective, liberals see it as the exploitation and oppression of women. Both sides are hypocrites. The real reason politicians hate legalized sex work is not because it's immoral or exploitative. It's because they know they can't make money off it through taxation. Think about it. It's typically a private, cash-based transaction between two consenting individuals that the government can't monitor. Mongers spend millions, perhaps billions of dollars every year, and the service providers don't pay a dime in taxes. If it were legal they might make some money from service providers who use traceable payment methods, such as credit cards, but it doesn't eliminate the untraceable cash transactions. Because sex workers have no political voice, it's easier to just keep it illegal. It panders to a wide audience across the entire political spectrum. Which politician's career was ever ruined by coming out against prostitution?

Personally I am politically apathetic and think you guys who argue about which group of people who are shoving the great big red white and blue dildo up your ass are "better" is fucking hilarious. I have to point out that when a law gets passed by a party who is in absolute control off all three branches of government trying to blame it on the other group of people trying to get power so they can fuck you as well is the absolute fucking apex of stupidity. I don't care what country you are in. When you win the right to govern, and you literally run the fucking table you can't blame anybody else anymore be responsible for your choices. The Republicans passed Fosta/Sesta (yes I'm aware that the Democrats voted for it as well but we know which party had the votes to pass it, which party got it on the agenda, which party signed it and which party appointed the justices that are going to uphold it) and gutted the Communications Decency Act, and made exercising the first amendment a crime. This will set a precedent for other invasions of the first amendment. If you support them, you have to own that.

You may want to expand your news sources as well.
A2.
PS To be sure, since the Democrats are no better (Obama signed the NDAA, classified more material than Bush/Cheney and built the largest data collection center the world has ever seen) they will continue to use this precedent to curtail your rights.
In any event, keep this kind of stupidity off the review threads.

Pay attention to local news sources, watch what is being shut down, and by who, instead of relying on late-night comedy shows for your news.

Posts: 84Make sure to hold those who voted for FOSTA responsible in the next election cycle, which is next month, which means Liz Warren and call her office and send an email telling them why she lost your vote.

Posts: 968I am a good tipper, so the hohos like me and treat me well. By the way, in my view, there is nothing wrong with being a massage parlor or apartment prostitute -- it's an honest profession.
