But if they really know what they are doing, they would use free burner numbers, like we should also be doing. So, they could get a local area code. Her ad does not have a local area code and she lists the location as 'downtown' All signs of a very generic ad that can be reused anywhere. These types of ads don't usually stick around very long. They just get re-posted in a different city.
4) But, most important and this should be done all the time, do a reverse google image search. I didn't search them all, but some matched pictures on social media platforms like pinterest. Others. Matched pictures in an ad that was posted on one website that advertises escorts, not STG, that was in Los Angeles.
The scam is usually that they want to make sure you are an adult and want to age verify you. Their claim is that only adults are eligible to get a credit card. So, they will request that you go to a website claiming that it's sole purpose is for age verification. If you enter in your credit / debit card, say goodbye to your money. This never happened to me. I already knew it was BS. I only followed the link far enough out of curiosity to see what the scam was.
