In some of the posts I've seen references to the effect that business is slow here and that some gals are headed up north to the Bay Area. This is a puzzle for me since it's my impression that the going rate for 1 hour up there is 220 while down here it's now creeping up to 270. Why don't the gals down here do a little discounting? Someone help me out on this one. Is it possible that the bookers up north don't take as big of a piece of the pie? I'm thinking about taking vacation and was pondering if worth it.

With the added expense for plane and lodging you need a lot more consecutive days of banging and to do it to make the price break is a self defeating proposition. The newer girls are still mostly 250. I don't think it's the price. The problem is marketing. There is no real good reliable marketing since the demise of CV. That site was a treasure trove of information and imparting the knowledge or who's available and where. Too many of us are in the dark especially with the newbies.
