Has anyone landed on a place to post their own ads, similar to what we did in the CLCE days? A place that's actually getting enough volume of ads to be productive?

Am curious if others are having any success.

I have a couple time posted on CL missed connections and BedPage I believe. CL gave some hits but much less than before with a quick flagging. I relied on this when I traveled. You'd always find non pros in need and there were many good memories. I'm sure college students and single moms still need help. So what medium are people using. SA? Tinder? I'm surprised nothing reliable has filled this void yet. I'm surprised CL has not open an overseas entity as an FU to the government. Waiting for the day to have this option again.

Hah!! Getting slapped isn't the worst that could happen. I was at an AA meeting, oh, 25 years ago or so, and saw a smokin' hottie that I couldn't keep my eyes off of. After the meeting I chatted her up and said "I'd give $100 to fuck you. " I got slapped. Lmao.

The next time I ran into her she approached me and said "Make it $200 and you have a deal". I did, we did, and eventually moved in together for about 6 years. She never asked for money after the first time, but believe me, I paid for it!! Lmao.

There are many ways to skin a cat. One idea is to borrow a cute puppy, hold it in your arms and stand outside the kappy's store waiting for her to come out. Sometimes I see her walking by, couldn't even walk in a straight line. She always gets her drink or smoke from the local kappy's. And she walks to everywhere. Probably couldn't afford a car or any transportation.

For what it's worth, and I'm not saying it's worth much, here's what I did. It's the only time I've tried, and it worked.

Saw a moderately attractive young woman hanging near a work truck type pickup in a downtown area in a medium sized (by Maine standards) city in Maine. She was making some calls on her cell and seemed like she was looking for a ride. Nobody else in the nearby area. I walked up to her and asked if she needed a ride. She said yes. She was looking for a lift to a bigger city about 20 minutes away. I had the time, I did so. Small talk in car about her life. Gave her a lift to an apartment that she was couch surfing at. She then asked for a lift to Walmart. She need $80.00 for a cell phone. I gave her the money. I don't remember how, but at some point before I gave her the money, it was acknowledged between us that she was going to sexually reward me, and she did.

I was feeling the urge and no one was responding, then she replied. Sounded sane and youngish on the phone and offered a favorable deal. She gives me the address on Arlingon st. I show up and it's not the address she gave over the phone (the usual I want to check out before I give you my real address). She's not the woman in the pics. The power was out at her place (had me turn my phone on for light). Then she immediately turn into a ***** and upsells and rushes. Absolute trainwreck. Avoid at all costs.

All that website does is repost ads from other websites, many of them several years old. So it's likely anyone you contact on there has either retired by now, or it's not even their number anymore.

After last time that my text went unanswered, I tried calling her, and found that I had been blocked. I have no idea why.

If anyone remembers nichole from revere the one who used to rob guys and extorted 2 people and became turtleboy famous. Used to go by ariana marie. Well I saw her today shopping at my local supermarket, she was with her girlfriend and pregnant. She was kind of looking at me like she knew me but never said anything, I was going to say hi to her but they called my number in the deli line and my cold cuts are by far more important then her. Pretty funny to see her since craigslist went down and our lasting memory of her is so sour.

Just feel bad for the bastard who impregnated her. That's a piece of work you won't get rid of easily.
