I've been on the site for many years and appreciate all of the helpful info. I'm guessing here, but GPS tracks us everywhere. Perhaps that's why your wife's phone was talking about you.

We have all compromised our privacy for the convenience of our phones. A serious tradeoff.

Bingo. Wouldn't have been a message from Jasmine, but Google attempting to rule the world with a God-amount of data on any and everything. So, scary but awfully nefarious.

Thanks for the info, KC Questor. I understand how it works and it's usefulness, but this is the first time I'm aware of that she got any kind of notification about a business. So am not sure why this particular location triggered it.

Good public service announcement. This is why I always make sure I power down all electronic devices. Too many apps trying to map out your life. Several years ago, accidentally, left a phone on while making a visit. Imagine my surprise when the next week, my hostess, with her real life identity, showed up as a recommended friend on a Facebook page. Can only surmise our phones were too close together at same location. Be careful out there.
