I take it that the $ you paid up front included the tip? Some think tipping up front means you're loose with your cash and makes them greedy.

I sometimes tip up front the first time I see a provider to let them know what I expect and that I'm not going to cheap-out on her. If it is worth returning, I try to ask for her and continue to give standard tip up front.
