I haven't had any luck negotiating a deal with any hotel / motel but that would be a great situation if you could pull it off. In general I'm able to pay cash (often less than $100) at lower end hotels and usually on demand and at most any time but the issue is many of these places don't have great reviews and are a bit "sketchy" so the ladies don't want to meet there, most others require at least a credit card for incidentals even if you pay cash. I've found some luck in the $100 to $130 range with places that are either not in favor or doing some sort of renovation, they often don't have a ton of business so they have clean rooms available and are decent enough places to make the ladies feel safe.
