Took a drive down Cicero last night around 1130-midnight and saw several SWs between Belmont and Diversey, all on the west side of the road. I don't know any of the names yet, but I'll learn. LE presence was minimal. Saw two WSWs together at Wellington on the Northwest corner, one taller with straight dark hair and jeans, and the other much smaller wearing a hoodie, perched on top of the fire hydrant. The smaller one looked really cute when I passed by, but on one pass, they were both talking to a guy, who I think went into the apartment upstairs, because on another pass, they appeared to be talking upward in that direction with the lights on and the window open. I'm seeing all these amazing reports of my fellow mongers getting BBBJs from cute streetwalkers. I've been off the SW scene for awhile, mostly in the AMP scene, but I miss the thrill of the hunt.

What is the likelihood of getting an STD while receiving oral? Do you all just take antibiotics all the time? I certainly don't want to pass anything to a steady partner of mine.

I always opt for CBJ unless I really know a provider and I still always check for anything suspicious around or in the mouth before doing even that. The chances of catching something are high w / o a cover, but it's likely HSV and no antibiotics can help you with that. When I first started, I threw caution to the wind, and I had about 3 good BBBJs before needing to see a doctor. Luckily, they had only passed on a curable yeast infection to me. But for a moment there I was sure that I had caught herpes. My method is this now: always wear a cover w / someone new and always check for anything suspicious around the mouth or tongue. It's usually around the side of the mouth, but it can be in the mouth, and sometimes it can be there with no visual evidence at all but that is rare and your odds decrease significantly by wearing a condom. I use Lifestyles, I find that they have a pretty thin feel to them. I do not allow contact with balls either as anything not covered by the condom is fair game to receive herpes. Seems kinda lame, but that's the price of playing safer. If you see an outbreak on the face, I'd just pass and you can usually tell when they walk up to the car. I keep the door locked. Then I do my first look for anything obvious. If nothing, I unlock. And then I'll do a my careful look. Hope that helps.
