Does anyone know how to get copies of arrest reports? I can't find an online resource but would be happy to pick one up in person since I'm sure they're public record. Regarding the hotel staff, IIRC hotels have a right to enter your room at anytime for any reason as well as to let the cops in. FWIW as long as they pay, don't cause trouble and so forth hotel staff could care less. That said, motels are better because lobbies suck. After dark I generally demand to be let in a side / back door or I leave.

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm guessing that the statements of hotel staff and Mgmt would provide acceptable probable cause to enter the room. I got caught up in a sting in the midwest 10 yrs ago. They had turned a provider and so were the renters of the room. Funny thing is, I had noticed the security latch was removed. But I locked the door from the inside so they had to knock. Couldn't get my briefs on quick enough and they came in and took a polaroid of my junk. Of course with time and money these things can go away, but I am sure there is a page somewhere on the interwebs that still has some of that info. I do a search every year or so to check it out.

Good observation there Brother, John went down along with her I don't necessary think it was a sting prolly the hotel manager saw too much activity and he could of made the call, they asked who was occupying the room and did a name research and since she has a long history of criminal activity they probably thought she was at it again and went after her, no need for search warrant as long as hotel manager agrees to search the room so if you get stock in one of these situations you are pretty much fucked, This is why I'm not a big fan of Hotel with walk trough lobbies trust me they do watch what's going on, I have a friend that works in the hotel industry and he said 95% percent of the times when there is a bust is cause someone called either the hotel manager or a room tenant next door that made the complain! I kinda feel sorry for the john he will have lots of explaining to do if he has a family.
