Can you provide a source for this? Most everything I read states that Uncle CANNOT search your room without consent or probable cause or it's a violation of your 4th Amendment rights. Even though it's a rented room, you are expected the same privacy rights as a rented house or apartment. If you have a source for the no-warrant search in hotel rooms I'd love to read it.

I don't have a solid source to validate this or articles, just a friend that works in the hotel industry that has experienced and witnessed how the stings and busts work he said that as long as LEO has the Authorization From either the hotel owner or in most cases the hotel manager witch is the one in charge, that is enough green light to search any room in the building at any given time your privacy RIGHTS ONLY apply when you have the ownership of the Establishment being searched such as, they cannot search YOUR car or YOUR house without a warrant if they don't have your approval to do so and it makes sense why you think most johns get caught in the act? With the recent activity I've been wondering how this goes down. What probable cause could they have to go to her room and arrest her and her client?
