Hey Doc. I always read "nothing serious" to mean that they don't want a committed relationship of any sort, that is, no exclusivity, she can have a BF, she can have multiple SD's, the relationship isn't the huge time commitment that dating is, but more of an occasional FB / FWB situation. I don't completely disagree, I'm just not sure that all angles of the sugaring lifestyle are so easily summarized. This is all a form of "payment" or "financial support", and is therefore prostitution. Sex is being provided for financial benefit. This is fine, I've always said there's no such thing as free pussy, and we always pay for it, even if not in direct currency.

But even if an SD can support one or two chicks at a time, many of us STILL have an incessant craving variety in our sex life; in fact I could consider this craving one of my biggest personality flaws. But it is that quest for variety that leads me to short-term sugar dating. It is always more convenient to just apply a blanket label and believe it is that way because we said so, than it is to dissect it and truly understand the complexities of the lifestyle.

I don't doubt for a minute there are lots of guys with modest throwing away their last bit of expendable income on escorts / UTRs, its just like any other addiction for them; I just know that they could not possibly be identified from their posts in this thread without having copies of their financial statements.

Exactly how I became an unexpected SD.
