Yeah it never made sense to me either. Grabbing a quick bite informally like Spike did at Starbucks sounds cool. But at upscale restaurants sometimes you see a couple where the looks disparity is so off the charts that the man has to be paying for the woman's company. No, I just bought her a churro and a pink drink at starbucks. Not really a dinner. So it just cost me about $10. She's just a cool chick.
