My reference to last weekend in my previous post is because I responded to a text message I received from an Asian outfit claiming to have new providers available in Silver Spring and Jessup. They asked me for a photo when I responded, something I discussed in the Montgomery County forum and elsewhere in the Baltimore forum. I should have mentioned that in my post. My apologies to the forum for any confusion I might have caused.

Montgomery and Howard counties have been cracking down on providers for some time, so that is another reason not to provide photos or other personal information to providers.

I doubt any of these places destroy customer contact information. Think about the case of Deborah Jeane Palfrey where many boxes of phone records were found (and later published). Why would a business destroy their customer contact information? Them saying they destroy it means nothing. After Backpage shut down, those who frequented the Chinese condos started to get text messages, including from places they never visited. Once you make a call, your phone number is available permanently to those businesses plus their friends.

Yep. This is another reason never to give out sensitive personal information, including photos. It's not worth the risk. I have no idea if she's legit or not but requiring a deposit is a deal-breaker for me. Her hourly rate is $400, so a 50% min deposit = $200. That's a fair chunk of change to put at risk.

My personal policy is to never pay anything in advance, not even for providers with excellent reviews and reputations. There are just too many things that can go wrong and then you're stuck trying to get your money back or trying to reschedule. There are so many good providers who don't have that requirement, why take the chance?

I would agree. I would be more concerned about more personal info than just a burner phone number. For those guys who give out work info, real name, pics and stuff like that. I want to be the one doing the fucking and not getting fucked.
