I have no idea if she's legit or not but requiring a deposit is a deal-breaker for me. Her hourly rate is $400, so a 50% min deposit = $200. That's a fair chunk of change to put at risk.

My personal policy is to never pay anything in advance, not even for providers with excellent reviews and reputations.
