I repeatedly asked why and she just kept saying that she wasn't comfortable and then mentioned that someone on the hotel staff gave her a hard time about something but, again, she never pinpointed anything specific. She also told me that she had just arrived there the night before after being at a different motel for about a month. When I asked why she left the other place she said it was "time for something new". So once again, she didn't give me a real answer. Against my better judgement I agreed to go to the other motel that she suggested which was right down the street. It was a dump and that's when my spidey sense kicked in full speed. I told her I was calling it off and took her back to the other place. She remained friendly and apologetic and asked if we could get together some other time but I won't. Just couldn't understand what was going on with this one.
