I've gone to the place in the basement on W 83rd next to the Hertz rental place (it's on the north side, between Amsterdam and Columbus). Massages are ok, and the women are attractive. I've never been able to get more than a handjob, and they ask for at least $80 on top of the house fee, which is pretty expensive. It's convenient for me, and there aren't many choices on the upper west side from what I can tell. But the pickings are way better and less costly in Chinatown. (And once in awhile, I do get a kink on for the gilfs on the 6th Fl of Mott).

Asian foot run place? Never been there. Did try Day Spa Gata on 82nd once on the advice of another monger. Kind of a professional European skin care spa offering massage. Passcode? WTF. Never in the 3-4 years that I've gone off and on. It's on 89th. You just walk in or hit the buzzer. Small door with reception desk immediately inside. Two massage rooms upstairs and one on the main floor in the back. Go upstairs if you can because downstairs is next to the bathroom so that's distracting and less private. Rooms have curtains only instead of doors but it's discrete. 1 Hr is 70 but they may give you 5 off if you mention web special. Standard tipping. I leave 40 for regular HE and add a bit more for extra play. YMMV in terms of free play for topless or roaming but money talks with most girls if you want to pay up for guaranteed nude massage. One girl would accept nothing less than 60 for standard HE so I got up and left with no tip to take one for the team. There's been a United Nations of workers over the years. American white, American black, Dominican, Jamaican, Chinese, Puerto Rican. Way back in the day Maya was by far the best. Not sure who's there now.

Long time ago I did some phone google work and got the impression rain is linked to an apartment service nearby on 91st maybe and also to a couple other spas like Gado in midtown. Not sure about that but doesn't matter if Rain's location and service is ok with you. They're on rubmaps with plenty of reviews but I don't subscribe because you guys are very helpful. Honestly I've been going to the 6th floor of 96 Mott for about 8 months now and it's one of my favorite spots. The price and the service can't be beat. I hear what people are saying about the initial reaction of the front room, but once you get the ladies in the back they seem a lot more attractive, if you know what I mean. The differences I've experienced over many years in many cities tends to be in the approach and training. Many Koreans have a similar approach that is more like the traditional Japanese Geisha where they are there to serve you. Most recently my favorites tend to be in Dallas. My experiences with the Chinese while by no means bad, tend to be more varied from provider to provider with less of a routine. Naturally, there are special and "not so special" ladies across the board.

My Asian preference sequence: 1) close tie between Korean, Thai and Viet 2) Chinese. 3) Filipinos (although occasionally have struck gold with a GFE).
