Not long ago the banking laws changed concerning gift cards. To stop money laundering they now won't let you use a US pre-paid gift / credit card on an overseas purchase. SS is such a purchase as their money collecting company is overseas. If someone knows a way to get around this I sure would like to know it so I can get an anonymous SS account.

I had paid a SA subscription back in April with A Vanilla One (it was either a Visa or MC) card. I think I just registered it with a fake name and some local address in some random zip code. It went through just fine.

Thanks. It worked! The easiest was for me to copy and paste the url into notepad, then ad the &q= at the end of the string, and then copy and pasted it back into the url bar.
