I'm pretty sure that the house cut is different. Having lived in both LA for a number of years, and the Bay Area for a few years until 2017, I asked girls about LA vs SF and generally, they said that LA customers were too demanding. I didn't really get into the details (wasn't particularly interested to be honest). For comfort of living and getting around however, LA is much, much easier for non-english speaking Koreans.
