The biggest issue I'd see using Paypal is maintaining anonymity. I always thought that the name on the account had to match the name associated with the payment method. Although I'm sure there's a way to create a burner specifically for this use.

You can maintain anonymity paying with BTC if you have a cold / hardware wallet and create an address specifically for that purpose. As a huge proponent of crypto, and someone who believes it's value will increase dramatically in the coming years, I'd never pay for pussy with BTC.
