I was perusing the Monkey site and saw an ad for Kay, the much-loved Thai masseuse who left town a few months back. Ostensibly there was a review in the last month or so, but I didn't feel like ponying up my credit card to read it. Chances are this is a false alarm, but if Kay were back, it would be big news.

A lady named Nadia is using Kay's phone. Saw her once on what she said was her first day and may have been just before Kay departed. Tall, attractive Thai lady with a great body and good massage skills. We didn't click that day, but may have been my fault for being a little demanding as I had hope to see Kay and wanted the same service. Oral skills were good, but not the GFE that Kay provided. On the pricing. I have done the Qv only once and that was with an oral specialist. The HH pricing is now being advertised a bit higher, but I have not had a provider refuse when I offered the old standard pricing of 1 to 1. 2. I usually pay a more than is agreed to if the service is good. So far the providers out there on adultsearch and switter appear to be of a better median quality than the backpage crapshoot. There are fewer to pick from, but generally I think the ones that remain are better. There have always been providers asking for 2. 5 to 6. 0 for an hour. I am happy for them if they can get it. There are plenty of providers in the 1. 8 - 2. 5 range. Many of high service quality. One thing we mongers should probably understand and accept is that the cost of providing services with advertising is now higher for our providers. Like us, they are search for the place to connect. My biggest issue is the loss of TER. It was a place to check reliability and quality. Erotic Monkey has review information, but at $30/ m and the need to give credit card information, I am not willing to go there.

IIRC, I saw in one of the Erotic Monkey forums that they will give some VIP credit (7 days, I think) for submitting reviews. That's potentially a positive but needs to be weighed against the negative that the quality of reviews is probably not going to be as good as on the oThER site. But at least that'll allow you to sample the info without giving up your personal data.

All is well at her studio in Annandale.

She has many mentions and reviews in various sections of the NoVA (BP, CL, and Massage) Boards. All of them accurate.

Pics nearly 100% match the real thing, though there's a reason she covers up her nips for the photos (bit of baby damage there & on her tummy). She's super-sweet and very chill though the room did have a scent of the devil's lettuce about it (didn't bother me but it might bother someone else). Easy to talk with, very willing to please. "Just don't be mean!" was the rule. We had a lot of fun.

I'm not crazy about the pricing lately, but I think the days of sub-1. FS in a nice safe quiet location with a girl who's reasonably hot may be gone. CL and BP made it easy for the ladies to make low-effort posts and attract enough client volume to keep prices down. Now with resources scattered and no single source of business readily available, it seems like the old. 6 QVs are kinda few and far between.

I hate to perpetuate GPS by paying exorbitant rates, but at the same time I don't mind at all if the goods are higher quality. I do have an issue with someone being expensive AND asking me to jump through all kinds of screening hoops, though. Be safe, sure, but don't be ridiculous!

That said, I'm seeing BP-esque posts on cityxguide so maybe things are swinging back around. What do you guys think?

Unfortunately it is harder to tell if a girl is still active, or what area she currently is in (which is a big deal with the traffic situation around here). We'll have to keep each other more informed than before to stay on top of stuff.

Just a note about E. Monkey. A basic free membership, while not allowing you to see current reviews, does indicate when a provider was last reviewed and you can see their contact number, so you at least have an idea if they are still currently available. So somewhat useful, without paying.

Thanks for bringing this up and resurrecting BB's post. I've never seen her or any other provider advertising "tantra" or "goddess" services. Those words strike me as nothing more than giving a provider an excuse to jack up her rates beyond what she's really worth.

I saw some VERY good reviews of her on E. Monkey just before it became a pay site. I suspect she wrote them herself under fake members as I have never heard anyone on any site suggest she was anything but a rip off provider in the past.

I've seen her a few times and the additional menu options never materialized. Maybe you'll have better luck but I wouldn't hold my breath. Also, she used to regularly offer hr specials for 80 or 100. Since she doesn't have much in the way of massage skills, and uses pretty low-quality lotion, that's more price inflation that I'd be willing to accept. Does she still do her rubs on a creaky daybed? I sure hope not because it was very noisy and made for an uncomfortable session.

YMMV, of course, so please let us know if she makes good on her offer of an expanded menu and what kind of $ she wants for her upgraded options.

Good advice about the expanded menu. The massage was on a queen-sized bed in what I assume was her bedroom, not a daybed & it wasn't creaky. I think the lotion was your standard off-the-shelf stuff from CVS or similar.

I've always heard nothing but good things about Ms. Andrea Adams. So despite the premium pricing, I decided to contact her a few years ago. However, when I reached out she had some hard and fast rules for screening clients that I was unable to meet. So she took a pass on me.

I have no doubt it was my loss.

On the other hand, it could be your gain if Uncle LEO ever gets hold of her screening information. That's one reason for not visiting providers who require giving up sensitive personal information in order to book a session.
