I tried contacting Miss J couple of times. Provided my references, P411 handle etc but after that its all crickets. I have to then text back asking for the status or if I missed anything. I do get a prompt response then but again she goes silent. I was hoping to meet her based on the reviews which you guys have given.

Today I texted her again asking if there are any other ways to get screened. She said she would meet for coffee and take it up ahead from there based on instincts. Is this normal or usual? Anybody encountered this?

I have seen her and not had to go thru the screening. But given the experience with her, don't fight it go for it. She is liable to invite you over for more serious activities once you are in front of her with coffee. Just do it. If she's a no show, well nothing ventured nothing gained. Enjoy your coffee and send her a txt saying coffee is still hot.
