Posts: 2243In my opinion, this is less about "trafficking" and more about trying to stamp out prostitution. The thing that these zealots never report is that BP happily worked with LE anytime and LE found BP to be a great resource for stings and catching under-aged girls. Shoot LE was often able to easily find lost, runaway or kidnapped girls from photos. But this change won't stop trafficking, just force the girls to the streets, underground or whatever. Now, one key the LE tool is gone.

As far as SD sites go, it looks like SA's Brandon Wade saw the momentum on the FOSTA and related bills and made some changes that others complained about. (raised prices to get $ now, warnings on prostitution, banning guys who are looking for hookers. Mention sex for money in correspondence.) I am sure the misguided LE is going to some how try to claim SD sites are also trafficking sites and either seize those domains, get the CC companies to stop taking payments or other draconian actions. The point being that lots of "pros" were already on SD sites, now they numbers are likely to increase. So one needs to do more sorting & sifting.
One word of advice. DO NOT talk about "donations" with girls when emailing through the site provided email. Take that discussion private to your monger email only.

Posts: 156I guess this is the end of "free" connections. Seems like Sugardaddy websites would be a key target but because they're private (pay site) they're not considered a public problem?

Lmao, you got me over her in tears "I might actually have to have sex with my wife now". No shit there before bro, but prostitution is the worlds oldest profession. Streets should pick up now. Hell for me it's about the hunt anyways. Good luck my friend!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - USA Law enforcement agencies have seized the sex marketplace website Backpage.com as part of an enforcement action by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to a posting on the Backpage website on Friday.
An image of the current home page of the website backpage.com shows logos of USA Law enforcement agencies after they seized the sex marketplace site April 6, 2018. backpage.com via REUTERS.
A Phoenix FBI official said that there was "law enforcement activity" on Friday at the Sedona, Arizona home of Michael Lacey, one of the founders of Backpage.
Glenn Milnor, FBI Special Agent and Media Coordinator, referred further inquiries to the Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice will provide more information at 6 pm EDT (1000 GMT), according to the website posting, which said USA Attorneys in Arizona and California, as well as the Justice Department's section on child exploitation and obscenity and the California and Texas attorneys general had supported shutting down the website.
Lawmakers and enforcement officials have been working to crack down on the site, which is used primarily to sell sex and is the second largest classified ad service in the country after Craigslist.
Backpage and advocacy groups have argued that the ads are free speech protected by the USA Constitution.
The USA Senate passed legislation last month making it easier for state prosecutors and sex-trafficking victims to sue social media networks, advertisers and others that fail to keep sex trafficking and other exploitative materials off their platforms.
Launched in 2004, Backpage has affiliates across the country and around the world, and by 2014 brought in annual revenue of $135 million, the New York Times has reported.
The Supreme Court in January 2017 refused to consider reviving a lawsuit against Backpage.com filed by three young women alleging the site facilitated their forced prostitution. But the site has since then faced a slew of other lawsuits alleging child sex trafficking.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has told Congress that nearly three quarters of the cases submitted to the center relate to ads posted on the site. The state of California has said that 90 percent of the site's income were attributable to "adult ads. ".
At the end of 2016, Texas and California attorneys general raided the company's Dallas headquarters and arrested chief executive Carl Ferrer and other former company executives on pimping-related charges. But the judge in the case ruled that the site was protected by the First Amendment, and the site should not be liable for the speech of third parties.
The states' attorney generals did not immediately comment on Friday's seizure.

Read it and weep. One by one, all the good sites are going by the wayside. The underground economy is going to take a hit and I might actually have to have sex with my wife now. What the hell is the world coming to?

So now BP is been seized. Un F*in real. People are getting all shot up on the west side. People dying from O. D and all the other issues and the government is focusing on someone getting laid? All in the name of underage trafficking.
Strange but I would have figured this under a Democratic administration not Trump.
Hmm.
We aren't going anywhere

ATTEMPTED TO GET ON BACKPAGE A FEW MINUTES AGO.
THE SITE HAS BEEN SEIZED BY THE USA GOVERMENT AND SHUT DOWN!
APPARENTLY THE SAME REASONS FOR SHUTTING DOWN CRAIGSLIST PERSONALS.
WHY THEY SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE BACKPAGE SITE MAKES NO SENSE AS THE PERSONALS, MASSAGE, ETC ARE JUST A SMALL SEGMENT.
THE AMPs WILL BE NEXT!

Posts: 156Dating websites do IP address blocking as well. About 8 years ago I would send messages on the dating websites to women to see if they might be interested in an arrangement of sorts. Had a pretty good hit rate considering those sites aren't for that sort of thing. Typically those that weren't interested never replied. But after several years of doing this I guess someone got pissed off and blocked my IP address. I fixed that by faking my routers Mac address and then was very selective on who I contacted. I ended up stopping since the hit rate went down and didn't want to play the cat-and-mouse game with the dating sites.

CL is filtering strings of keywords, and preventing the post for going up. I was with a friend today who showed me her account. As a result of several frequent attempts to post offering her services, they flagged her account and it appears they blocked her IP address. I say this because when I tried to post an item For Sale on my account from her pc and I couldn't, but when I returned home I didn't have a problem from mine. It seems they tightened this up pretty well.

Well, with the personals being down, things suck. A few, shall we say, side pockets do exist. Resumes, creative services, activity partners. Be creative and put your mind to use. Ads seem to get flagged almost as fast as they are posted.

I'm sure many of you remember Lora, the massage therapist in Dover many years ago who ran the Buy American ads on CL and BP.
Part one of my inquiry is does any one know what happened to her? Is she still in the business? Last I heard of her were a couple of Cecil County area news articles pertaining to some difficulties she experienced few years ago.
My main question is if anyone knows of a massage therapist on par with her? What I'm searching for is someone who can actually provide a real, honestly therapeutic massage with the opportunity for the shared enjoyment and appreciation of each other once we've become acquainted.
I would also like to not be made to feel like I'm filling out an SF86 work sheet just to see the lady. Some ladies I've looked in to want employer info, etcetera. I value my privacy very much. I guess if I have to, I could visit another provider who is willing to work with people still trying to build their credentials in the community. My problem is mostly that the ladies I've seen in the past are either no longer providing or were some quick hook up that I decided were not a good idea to keep in contact with.
Any suggested ladies in that regard as well?

So I talked with one of the girls I regularly see today, and asked her what was up. She said there is something going on where when you go to post an ad on BP, it will not let you put any description in, only can type numbers. She hasn't figured it out yet (obviously no one has). I see some ads today that have some writing in a picture format so they can list something, but they can't add in any writing or location etc. It sure does suck though as when you click on the gallery for pics, not all the ads come up, and when you are looking at the just description part, it's all mostly phone #'s and you have to click on each one. I used to know pretty much who the ad was for by the description, but not anymore. And without them being able to add a location, trying to figure out if the girl is on Wilmington, or way down in Dover sucks too. You can't even use the search to just narrow down where the girls are at. I hope they fix it soon or come up with some way to address it. Anyhow that is the scoop.
Stay Safe,

Posts: 105What is up with BP and phone #'s
Anyone else notice that a lot of BP ads today just had phone #'s listed on the title and very little info except for telephone # in the description area? Anyone know why? Just wondering if the girls are deliberately not writing anything for fear of LE, or just one wrote it and the rest of the sheep followed?

Posts: 251Notels or minimum requirements
There are a few around. On the bottom is Crown by the airport. You can try Day One near Edgemoor and finally Knights Inn up near Claymont. If you want upgrade from these, there are a few like Motel 6 in certain areas that let you check in early. The one off 273 does not, but the one in Elkton, MD does. Good luck.
