I really don't like to bargain, deal, haggle or ask someone for discounted rates. If you lowball and try to negotiate, most likely the service is going to be lackluster. They will hold "well if you want better service than pay more or my regular rate".

Especially in this hobby.

If it's 220 then it's 220 and if it's 240 that's it's 240.

You really want to save 20-40 dollars. And have a provider rush you or quickly. And not give you pleasant service.

Point taken and appreciate Hines and Dynolas advice from more experience than me.

I just didn't know what to expect with Pink31 like Dynolas pointed out.

That said, I have also had good luck negotiating small add-ons at other places once the basic time and service are agreed upon. Like with some providers halfway I might ask for topless and they say 30 and Ill offer 20 and they take it happily because it's easy extra money. But clearly this is different when I'm offering extra rather than what I did at Pink where I was trying to get the base price down.

Then there are places like 98 Mott that get the job done (arguably) for under $. Read thoroughly, and you'll find that this thread is super informative.

Just wondering if there's a standard rate or just really all over the place depending on locations.
