On a side note, maybe he handled the situation wisely even if it wouldve been some crazy wild fun; you never know the hubby couldve shown up on them unexpectedly (given that she called him to say he didn't need to come home right afte work -which couldve raised suspicion and the hubby's curiosity to find out if someting was going on). Better be safe than sorry, so it is what it is.

At the end, at least the hubby probably got to enjoy all the wild fun when he came back home (assuming he wasn't already exhausted from work LOL).

It's always better to play safe than just "flow with it".
