Sadly, the area is a desert when it comes to the hobby. There is the occassional UTR but they are hard to find and usually short lived. Occassionally someone will stop by for a day here and there. You would think with the summer tourism, you'd end up with more opportunities available to entertain the lonely male visitors. Manistee probably Sees the most girls but they usually only post for a couple of days and leave town and come back a month or so later for another couple days. I'll keep you in mind if I see anything else pop up.

Thanks! Yeah, with all of the providers and AMPs in Grand Rapids, you'd think maybe a couple could branch out north of Muskegon and Mt. Pleasant. I was excited for a couple of hours when I saw on rubmaps that there are three AMPs in Shelby until I figured out that they were in the township of Shelby (by Detroit) rather than the city of Shelby. Where do the providers post for Manistee?

How does a person go about finding providers around Baldwin or Ludington? I'm planning on doing some solo camping trips around the Manistee National Forest this summer and I'd like to break up the loneliness with some special attention. But it's like, where the best camping is- there's hardly anything hobby-friendly. The closest action I can see so far is Muskegon but that's almost an hour away from Baldwin, where I most often camp at because of the motorcycle trails.
