I had a strange experience here.

Paid for an hour massage. I didn't have a choice of provider. Only one came out the side room where I could hear another woman on the phone. I asked the one that came out if she was alone, and I can understand why she would be nervous at that question. Anyway, she indicated that someone else was there, but I didn't see anyone.

She said her name was Sophie and she was giving me a decent massage and on the flip she was running her hand into my pubes and she was holding my balls and lifting them up, moving them around ands suddenly her timer went off. She said "All done. Thank you. ".

I never said anything in the first place other than "Am I being detained?" " Am I free to go?" and "Have a nice day, officer. ".

I don't have my license plate tattooed on my forehead, so it is unlikely they will guess what I drive.

If you are in fact detailed and arrested by the police and you request a lawyer, what happens next? Do the police take you in hand cuffs? What lawyer do you call? Do you have a prearranged deal with a lawyer and have current phone number. Or do you arrange bail ASAP and then contact a lawyer. Do you need some one to bail you out? Just would like to know what to expect the order of events are and there approximate time sequence? I understand these issues could change from state to state.

Stopped in for a thirty minute rub. Got a 50-something, well preserved grandma. Cute face, nothing special, a-cups, nothing revealing or sexy. Massage was good, worked out some knots. Very pleasant attitude, but no flirting or tease before the flip. Got right down to business with a mechanical release. Allowed OTC and UTC roaming up top. If you are driving you almost always have to show an I'd if you broke a law or traffic law. Also you do need to show an I'd if you committed a crime or are being arrested.

True, but this is different from Stop and Identify, in which circumstance there is no probable cause. If they suspect you of a crime, they will detain you. That's a whole different situation where you should invoke your right to silence and to having an attorney present during questioning.

This is why I almost always park a quarter-mile or more from any provider that I visit. I also leave my wallet and driver’s license stashed safely in my car. If you've been stopped by the cops, you can honestly say that you're just out walking and don't have any identification on you. Then you can either take a very long walk, or go into some store or coffee shop. Don't let the cops see you get back into your car.

True in MA, but not so in RI where, if LEO asks, you must at least verbally I'd yourself, but nothing more and don't have to show I'd without articulable reasonable suspicion or probable cause.

And don't be surprised if the cops show up at your house saying "I know you said nothing happened, but. " just to bust your balls because even though they might have stopped you as a pedestrian they know what car you drive.

Wait, so, if a cop pulls you over, or stops you on the street or in a public (or private) building, you don't have to show a license?

You must have a license to drive legally. If you don't show it when pulled over, they'll bust you for driving unlicensed. You may get out of it in court. Otherwise, you do not have to identify yourself. Just remember to be polite, but firm. They know your rights and are hoping you don't.

I'm mostly only posting to see how many of you got a very odd phone call yesterday. The woman from Sunshine Spa called me, scary she has my number still, to tell me that it's closed. I presumed it was a snow day, but then she mentioned something about a new woman owner and that I should not go, that they are closed. I wasn't a fan myself, but I think others might have enjoyed what she used to offer.
