I used the TF website the first few times and it was very cheap at black market exchange rate, approximately $3/ hour with early 20's 10/10 women. The Bolivar lost 99.6% of its value recently, so it is cheap. This comes at a price because it is very dangerous, so you have plan each step of the way carefully. I was staying at a resort in Caraballeda and it was safe. I was advised to bring food with me, so I stocked up on mac and cheese, energy bars, cookies, dried food and cheeses. That was a silly advise because many things were available, but at prices the locals cannot afford. I used TF website 6 times during the first 2 days, but the folks at the hotel provided a better option, and was also much faster. AirBNB was $25 in the resort, but would have been a fraction if I did a reservation in person. My advise is to reserve one night on AirBNB, then pay cash for the rest. The pain in the ass prior to the trip was the visa. I should have applied for the 2 trip visa, but that was a lesson learned.

This was a good weekend. Last night I went out on the hunt. After driving a bit I ran into Jessica a block away from the circle. Scooped her up and went back to a place she was staying. I was out driving around Wilkens, Payson, Pulaski etc. Last night. It was dead. I think the combination of high winds, cold weather and a power blackout on Pratt and some streets nearby was keeping people inside. In my travels I observed a marked Baltimore police car repeatedly pulling cars over. Here is what he was doing. Lets say you turn onto Payson fom Wilkens, you are headed north. You then make a right on Ashton to head over to Monroe. Ashton street actually bends left and merges in to Ramsay street. There is a stop sign there. It is off to the right, mounted up high and easy to miss. So the marked police car was sitting on the other side of the street. He would wait until drivers did not stop and then pull them over. I saw him get three cars in 40 minutes. This could cause a minor inconvenience or a major problem. The cops also might hassle you if you had someone in the car. The police presence in this area has been constant for the last two weeks. Be careful!
