A few weeks ago I tried to hit up Angel but they were busy. I had limited time available and hadn't made a backup plan so I did some quick searching and decided to try a place I'd seen advertised but never visited. It was called Smooth Water, located in Fairfax, but unless you were specifically looking you'd probably never find it. I think the building is a combination of apartments and businesses. Anyway, the place was on the lower level and I headed down the elevator. I knocked on the door and was let right in. The place itself is very small, no waiting area, or two door entryway like I'm used to. I was led to the main (only) room that was divided by a curtain in the middle. They were leading someone else out the same door, but from the other side of the curtain, and so I just waited and avoided eye contact.

Onto the massage itself. I can't recall my providers name, but she was middle age +, but very nice and I found her attractive. The table shower was really a sponge bath on the massage table. It wasn't bad, but definitely not my thing. I thought the massage itself was really good, she used hot stones and towels and overall a really nice experience. A little light teasing, and on the flip some more overt attempts. Received a standard nova finish with some OTC / UTC roaming. A little additional shoulder / neck massage after cleaning everything up and I was on my way. Now, this is where something happened that I have never experienced before. On my way out, she stamps a card and hands it to me. She says to come back and I'll get a stamp each time, and when the card is full I'll get a free massage?! I think I left speechless, but now I have to laugh. I will admit that I did ditch the card upon walking out. I don't need an odd reminder like that being left around and found at some random point, but I have never received a stamp card at any AMP I've ever been to. Also, while the massage was good and the ending was as expected, the strangeness of the room setup and location left me a little uneasy so I'm not likely to repeat.

She did also say she had some younger friends that would be joining her in the next few weeks and that I should come back and try the 4-hand massage out. We'll see if my resolve crumbles, I just hope she doesn't ask me for the card if I go back.

A number of the Chinese AMPs I've visited over the last several years have had cards offering a free one after 10, or 50% off after 5. That sort of thing. I actually have a full card for Top Massage in Manassas for 50% off burning a hole in my pocket. The places with cards seem to be generally massage only, but also depends on the provider.

I've crossed a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thing is, I can get a normal provider who is hotter, for better rates and don't have to drive as far. Nevertheless, good experience for NOVA folks.

I read the PG board where the listed locations are discussed. I did a tour that consisted of visiting each one to inquire about initial price, ask to see their table shower and the massage room. Here is my report:

Diamond. No sign. I had to search the building to find what looked like the place in the basement. The mamasan showed me the rooms. One had a door. Others just a curtain The place felt creepy to me. I passed.

Rising Star -no sign. Good location, second floor. Looked ok. But front door blocked with an iron screen security door. Mamsan would not let me enter unless I agreed to a massage. Could be good, but I moved on.

TWBC -no sign. So so location. Place had a 1950's feel to it. Mamasan did not want to show me around.

TK. Nice office building location. Like TWBC the place looked thrown together. But Mamsan was nice. The standard one hour massage at all these places (except at TK) is 0. 6 for an hour. TK was 0. 7.

VIP. Acupuncture sign. I actually visited this place second and then returned after the others. Good location. Easy Parking. Very nice young mamasan. This looks much like a legit massage place. Very clean, bright and open with light. The mamasan showed me a room which looked better than any I have visited. The table shower was busy, so I told her I would come back. After the other visits above I did come back. I am glad I did. By far the prettiest therapist I have ever had. A very good massage. The table shower explored parts of my body that are typically enclosed in darkness. I did not negotiate with my provider. Instead I gave all the money I had (a reasonable amount bringing the total under $1. 9) and told her to have her way with me. She happily agreed and locked the door. The best AMP experience I have had followed. It was a full experience.

It was splendid. I got her name, but she asked me to to publish it.

So, I do recommend crossing the river occasionally. With the exception of Diamond, any of these places could be good on a given day. VIP was good on the day I visited.

I used to travel quite a bit around the mid-Atlantic in the mid-and-late 1990's. I lost my MP cherry at a spot west of Gettysburg about 25 years ago. If I recall correctly, Silkflowers was the name of the place. I don't recall their having such a system, and if they did they didn't tell me. Silkflowers changed hands about a year or so following my first visit and I stopped going after a couple of unimpressive visits under the new ownership. There was another place a few miles to the west on Route 30, up near the mountain, but I never returned there following a bad experience.

I recall there were a couple of places in or around Harrisburg that gave cards to mongers; the cards were marked or punched on each visit. Supposedly I would have gotten a freebie once the card was filled, but Uncle LEO shut them down long before that happened.

Getting back closer to home, I can't recall ever receiving such cards or offers of freebies at any MP or AMP in or around the DC region. There were some individual providers at various establishments who offered me upgraded levels of service for repeat visits, but that was about it.

I think this was then called miss Lindsey's west of Gettysburg. It's just reopened as a strip club. With extras.

Interesting there is also a place not to far from there called the cottage.

Which is a swingers club but has no reviews or comments anywhere.

Over the years, I have been to many places that give out the cards. Some have half off after 5 visits. Most of these places are not in NOVA. The thing that I notice is that often they note the date of the visit and the provider initials / signs them. I guess that does show that you have been there before and maybe the level of service that is associated with the initialed provider. I usually pitch them because at 100-120 a pop, I ask myself: Am I willing to spend a thousand bucks to get a freebie? At least for me the answer is no, as I would rather spend it exploring the other options. Back in the 80's, God I am old, there was a great FS spa run by some white country gals on Rt. 30 west of Gettysburg that kept a 3 x5 index card on file for each customer. They kept the details and some info of the proclivities and after a certain number of visits you got a freebie. I must say I spent enough there and was surprised that they actually did keep track and I got the "this one is free" visit and the owner came out and said she would be the provider. I guess she had read the details of my proclivities and wanted some. Sh*t I miss those days.

It's fun for us old guys to reminisce. Since we started before the internet, there were more challenges. I recall an early visit to an MP in the LA area when I was about 22 and I expected a good Asian massage and perhaps a decent finish. Next thing you know she asked if I wanted a condom. Based off this review I headed to Bamboo. I was initially thrown off at how old the lady was but went with it. I also had Julia and she was great to my surprise. After doing a bit of flirting with her at the start once the lights dimmed she became playful and roaming. One of the best massages I've ever had. The attention to detail was key! Walked on my back and more! On the flip she went to soft touch that immediately got my attention. She started working on my soldier but I wanted the mouth release and whispered if she can do mouth. She shhh'd me and went back to work. Release wasn't explosive which was probably more my fault than anything. She resumed the massage for another 30 minutes. It was soo good and relaxing I fell asleep. She later introduced me to her partner as her new boyfriend. The partner doesn't have the same slim body and probably just as old. Will try again to see if I can get more but it's worth it just for the massage.

Saw a new ad last week for Bamboo in springfield. I went in last week saw an old lady there and asked if they had a TS she said no and I got the vibe place was legit so passed. But went back tonight, not sure why but figured what the hell maybe the massage won't suck and if I get something more then cool if not at least I'd TOFTT. Glad I did. Met with an older korean lady named Julia. She's got some years on her and did not have a spinners body (maybe back in the day) but she wasn't terrible on the eyes either. I actually prefer older women because at the very least they tend to know how to give a decent massage and Julia had very skilled hands. To be honest, one of the best massages I've had in ages. Enough "accidental" teases in certain areas tipped me off that there may be a flip with extras, but if not, it was a solid massage, I would leave satisfied if there was no ST.
