As the courts have held again, and again, and again, online interactions take place where the server is located, not where the client computer is (ever wonder why they used bank pressure to shut down online poker and didn't make playing online poker illegal? That's because technically those games were in Costa Rica) all of these posts, and conversations take place there, in Germany. We are in yet another country, so subpoenas would need to be through three different international jurisdictions.

So say they do that, say they jump through all those hoops to subpoena everything, what have they got? I don't know who you are. Who in the fuck is Yurp5 besides an idiot that decided to slam our forum in public and now will be on moderation forever. Does your license say Yurp5? Is that the name on the deed to your house? What about your tax returns? I don't know who Yurp5 is and if I don't, then how are they going to get to you from us?
