Next thing you know a stranger (a man) is texting you letting you know that your information (name, photo and phone) is in predatorsalerts.com/ xxx-xxx-xxxx (where xxx-xxx-xxxx is your phone number) and that you can go to a website to get it removed as the guy did (obviously for a price).

Any body has any information as to how to deal with this? They don't have my real information but they do have my photo and I don't like it.

I looked at this person's profile but didn't contact them because the picture was of an caucasian gal but the profile said asian. Could have been an honest mistake but that would seem like something a legit member would have caught quickly. She contacted me on SA saying to email her so I fired off a email and she responded very quickly with details saying she I had some very specific rules and if I was OK with them, we would get along fine. She also attached a few pictures which didn't look anything like the person in her profile picture. I asked about the mismatch in her profile (asian versus caucasian) and I asked about her rules. I also noticed that the name that showed as the email sender was different than the name used in the actual email addy. The rules came back looking like a written version of the TNA "Things I hate to discuss" except a bit more explicit. There was also a request that I use the craig's list friend finders verification to verify myself. Never mentioned any rates and she sent a few more pictures and the last line was if you don't agree to her rules don't reply. Not sure about the Craig's list thing and she could just be a provider but anyway too many discrepancies and sketchy things so I looked at last line in her email about not replying if I wasn't interested and said to myself "Done". However, she has kept emailing me asking to me verify myself and the emails have additional pictures that are more explicit trying to entice me into responding by saying that the verification was free. Was able to track the pictures she sent to a online porn paysite in TN.

So she / he / it been sending me additional emails to entice me to sign up to this site with further explanations of how it's really free and hey we understand your concerns so here's another way to sign up guaranteed to be free etc. And I have yet to respond to any of the emails. The emails look like standard response emails they send if a person has concern A, send this response, concern B, send this email. In reading their explanations you get a sense of how they are running the scam and how they plan to gain your confidence. What's funny is that they send additional pictures with each email and the pictures get more explicit with each email and in one of the emails, the pictures are of a totally different person.
