The majority of the guys spending 80 or $100 per session is no small money for an hour of entertainment. The more savvy girls would rather have customers ever day instead of the once in a while hundred dollar tips customer.

A regular $40 customer tip is the bread and butter of the business and I feel what keeps the businesses thriving.

I have a lot of empathy for these girls, their life is not easy. I go two to three times a week and if the cost goes up they won't see me as often so the cash flow decreases. Simple economics. Supply and demand. There are hundreds of massage places in this area, all for one reason. To make money but they need to avoid priceing themselves out of the market

I agree, the girls already know what is standard, so "holding the line" makes no difference. Having been in the service business in my youth I know the "standard" tip for the service I was providing, so if someone gave me a larger tip, I certainly did not expect that from all my customers, rather I appreciated it and took extra special care of that customer the next time I saw them. Exactly the same with these gals. Sure, every once on awhile you get someone whom is delusional, but for the most part tipping above standard for above standard service has been good to me.

Don't get me wrong, I only tip above average if I had an exceptional experience and standard for standard service, so call it karma or money talks, but tipping a little more has given me exceptional service and a good reputation amongst many of the San Diego AMPs. If I get a mechanical HJ with no touchy feely, standard $40 for blue balls relief. If I get a HJ from an attractive, sweet gal that allows full access, they get a benji. If the HJ service is somewhere in between, my tip also falls in between standard and generous. I have a good relationship with many of these gals, the mamasans and managers of these AMPs and they tell me that they know the standards, but sometimes are strapped for cash (Just like any of us) and try for more. I'm also told how some gals in their trade are "clazy" (Crazy) expecting way more than they should. They also tell me some guys tip $100 to $500 JUST TO TALK. I must admit, I sometimes get disillusioned when I come back from many of the Asian countries or even Hawaii and Mexico where I get the same if not better treatment for $10 to $100 tops, but they have less risk and more competition. Great massage from Angela, only touch legs on massage, don't touch anything else while massage. On flip HJ only but the best I have ever had. YMMV 40 half hour session plus 70 tip. I have been most impressed with Mr. ChowGow's dedication to the hobby, but I'm left thinking did he really see Emily or someone else? I just saw her last week and did not find her nearly as old as indicated here. Her massage was good as well as her attention to details. She even dressed me while I was still on the table (a first!). I got the full hour and had a good time as well. I will say one thing that was lacking was a personal connection (something Eva does in spades and it was my first time with her. I've been to Z's on several occasions and generally have a good experience, so with the recent reports about Emily, I've been eagerly wanting to try her.
