Not necessarily. The supply would be the girls that provide the service would probably flock to the strip clubs outside of Detroit. While the physical space has diminished, I. E. , the number of strip bars providing extras, it doesn't necessary mean that the other bars stop providing extras. Now the supply and quality of girls may change across all the strip clubs, I. E. , blue collar vs. VIP, but that price differentiation already existed (I'm somewhat of a skeptic when I hear some of the "bargain basement" prices reported here at VIP clubs--but that's just me). You might see days when 12-15 girls are on days and double that number on nights (ah the good ole days). Assuming just a shift in supply, the more girls, the downward shift in the pricing for extras because of competition. I'm assuming this because all other factors are constant that impact demand. If there's a simultaneous shift in supply and demand, then it harder to gauge (some consumers forced out because of an increase in extra fees or bar prices).

Any how, I think some shift is definitely possible, but on the margins and not to the extremely. Then again, its all about how consumers respond to price changes. If people stop coming to the strip clubs, then they're out of business. Only time will tell.

For me at least, I have to say "yes and no" to some of your statement. You are absolutely correct about the higher-end clubs. But I've found that if you see one that is sitting on their ass at the bar or looks just plain bored because they ain't getting tips, they are more than willing to negotiate. Yes, you're correct about the "blue-collar" clubs. But I find ladies there can haggle to much, I. E, try to nit-pick you for $10-$20 more. As always, I stand firm for what I can afford AND are willing to pay (willing to pay less than what I can afford). In both type of clubs, I've had ladies that want to negotiate in the VIP, and not before. I've always refuse that (well, at least I did till I went to VIP one time with Erica at BT's--big mistake).

The booths are all too small. You've got to find a lady who's a contortionist (you need to be as well) to make things work sometimes. But boy when it does, it brings a smile to your face and a helluva memory.

I can confirm that there is a major crackdown by police vice at the Detroit strip clubs. Some of the recent talent I've met at BT's have stated they've left Detroit clubs recently because of it.

I sit at the bar whenever I go to BT's. It appears so do most of the unoccupied ladies, although if they've seen you before, or want to meet you, they make the effort to walk by.

I can vouch for the $8 charge for non-alcohol at BT's. Cost me the same yesterday (Jan. 20) when I was in for my monthly visit. Was $1.5 for BBBJ / CFS. Found nice AA girl who said, "I'm here to please you. " (Yes! Young lady was part of the "itty-bitty titty" group, but made up for it with a phenomenal ass and legs. Told me she "took her time " and doesn't rush--and she didn't. Fulfilled my request and then some.
