Let me start by saying I am originally from this great city. I first started mongering and honed my mongering skill in the city of Chicago. Recent visits of the years have left me quite dissappointed, I've RTFF for Chicago and it is primarily void of useful info even before the BP collapse. From what I can see from the little info available here is that you guys are way over paying almost like a Chicago tax 1. 4 to $$ for hh with mediocre providers. Providing coin just to spend time, these Chicago providers don't want to work because you guys are just cuddling with them and taking them on dates WTF! So here is Angel, she doesn't seem to be from the city, rtff didn't see any info so I toftt. By limiting the personal ads to phone numbers and links to social media, they're forcing providers to communicate the details of their services elsewhere. Thus, allowing BP to say that they're not promoting any "illegal activity. " In this model, BP becomes a 21st Century "phone book" for social media accounts and nothing more

I've seen a couple providers lately who have suggested that BP will not allow any sort of personal ads (legit or otherwise) in 2018. Considering the sources of these rumors, I take it with a grain of salt. However, if the girls think that BP is a lost cause, its death as a place to look through ads will likely become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and the only thing that we'll find there are fake ads, scams or worse (this part seems to already be happening as most of the ads these days appear to be bullsh*t).

The girls I've seen have asked where everyone else is posting. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be anything that providers are flocking to consistently that won't charge them a (relatively) large fee. There's even been complaints by some of the girls that Eros will shut down in 2018 (again. Grain of salt), but even then the cost to post an ad on Eros was significantly more than BP. So, with no generally accepted "hub" for ads, the girls mentioned it feels like they spend more time posting / managing their ads than having actual appointments. In some cases, it's causing providers to give up and / or raise their rates as to compensate for the decrease in the number of appointments they have per week. (Many of these providers are trying to make a living.).

SIDE NOTE. My most recent appointment was with a well known and respected provider who told me she and her friends were packing up for Australia to work for a month because the state of the hobby there was not as frustrating as it is anywhere in the US. She tells me that by making a couple of overseas trips per year, she won't need to see clients here (again. More salt).

I guess I'm getting old when I say that I miss "the good old days. " I remember when you could go on CL, BP, CV, Eros and find nice independent providers who didn't charge a crazy rate and could be easily verified with services like TER, TBD, RS2 K, P411. Nowadays, as a hobbyiest, I feel like I spend more time researching to make sure: a) it's a legit provider, b) she provides a GFE experience, c) her rates aren't insane. And even with all the research, I've been ripped-off and or disappointed more often than not these days when seeing "independents. " (Don't get me wrong, there are a couple of agencies that I have consistently had good experiences with, but they've had their own challenges retaining talent, and if given the choice, I would prefer to see a provider who doesn't have to give a portion of the donation to "the house. ") I just miss the days where if I got the itch, I could go online, do some quick research then after a couple hours and 2-3 phone calls be spending an enjoyable hour with a great provider. Now, I feel as if I don't book at least a day ahead of time, my only options are questionable providers, and even if I do book in advance, there's a REALLY good chance I'll get flaked on (happened to me no less than 6 times in the last 2 months).

Sorry for the rant. I just re-read this and realized I went on a tear, but the state of the hobby these days bums me out and I needed to get this off my chest.
